Hi someone asked me to haul his 38 foot ball hitch camp trailer 80 miles. How much should I charge?

Well, here in California the average fuel compensation is $0.44 per mile plus your hourly wage. But if it is a friend or something, I would just do it for the $0.44 per mile, that would cover fuel and the cost of wear and tear on your vehicle.

50 cents/mile Plus fuel. Add your time at 7- 10 bucks and hour should be a reasonable amount

Charge them $2.50 per mile paid up front cash only that way you cover the cost of the ride home.
