No kidding...in this "schooldistrict" we have school monday to thursday...what do you think??
I think it is weird.

That's good I guess, but how long is your regular school term? Most schools get out for summer break during the last week of May or 2nd week of June. If you go to school longer and it cuts into your summer vacation, then no thank you for 4 day school weeks.

Or kids get out half of the day on Wednesday!That would be cool if I was still in school to have Friday off. But this is my kid we are talking about. So, No I would not like that.

I like the whole three day weekend thing, but if we did that every week we would have such a short summer. I prefer a long summer vacation as apposed to a bunch of holidays durring the school year.

Not weird, we have it here also. It's because most of the people that live here are farmers / ranchers. The kids are suppose to help their families with the daily chores like feeding the animals, milking the cows, etc.

Do you go to school longer than most kids? I know in our state you have to go to school so many days a year, but not sure how many. If that did that here, school wouldn't be out until July.

It would be nice if the hours were longer..Kids are not in school long enough these days and there is always a half day in the middle. How do they expect parents to work?

I think it's great if you're making up the time with independent study.
My son only goes to school two days per week (high school), the rest is independent study. We love it and his school is ranked number one in our county for test scores....so it works.

really...r your school days longer? i`m 46 and in the 1970`s in rural nova scotia..for 1 year we went to school at 1:30 p.m. and got out at 5:30 p.m...weird..eh?

That would be soo awesome I could sleep late on Fri. instead of go to school!!! LOL! And you always have a 3 day weekend!
