Because they liked him better than the candidate you liked.

Many people have different points of view than yours.

The first time he was elected, it was a farce. Al Gore actually won that election by popular vote, but the Florida Electoral College could not come to a conclusion as to who won their state,so the Supreme Court chose Bush to be our President. This was really a no, no, since the Supreme Court had no right to be involved & the Republicans had the majority in the Supreme Court.
The second election, I think it was, as has been said before, the thought of voting for someone we thought we knew! Until his 2nd term in office he had done nothing too bad so people just re-elected him. Also, somehow, Congress (Republican led) in 2002, gave the President the right to go to war without their consent. Shortly after this consent was given, 6 months, he decided to take us into Iraq, with no provacation on their part! He had nothing to lose, he could not be elected again, history will note that he was the President that took us to war, always a good foot-note for an ex-President! Unless history records the truth!

b/c majority of this country is republican and they will stick with a republican, no matter how bad the screw up. bush's term is almost over, so what difference does it make? i'm voting for Barak Obama! I personally think Bush just wanted the presidency to take on what his daddy didn't finish and to be in the history books next year. It's all a game; a game no one can win.

The only reason Bush won the first election (against Al Gore) is because of that asshole Ralph Nader. That nutjob took away millions of votes from Gore. Thus began the reign George "W" Bush, yuck.

Ask your Government teacher.. the reason MOST people KEEP voting for that loser is because he was a C' student, yet an A or B student is too good for the white house. :P, Well he started the whole war in Iraq and most people think "well, this fo' started the war and he needs to finish what he started, lets vote for his @$$ again and let him take care of his own mess." thats one of the reasons why, there's plenty more reasons.

i guess you mean keep, he was voted for in 2000 and 2004 so people only voted for him twice. Look what the alternatives were Al (invented the internet, and I am now a climatologist beware of global warming) Gore and that other useless piece of garbage John (hey Teddy Kennedys my godfather, and boy I never knew there was so much money in making Ketchup) Kerry.

No one votes "for" anyone anymore. They just vote "against" the other guy because they think the other guy's probably worse.

Until someone runs who is actually better than the rest, instead of just being considered the lesser of two evils, we will continue to get Bush-like presidents, whether Democrat or Republican.

i agree with you entirely, but fact of the matter is, more people voted for him than people who didnt vote for him. Look at it this way.. in another year and a half he'll be gone

while Bush isn't good at hardly anything he is good at deception and he uses propaganda like a pro. Apparently, the US majority will believe anything someone tells them rather than doing a little research on their own.

Keep voting for him? He was only elected twice. If it was possible I would vote for him a third time.
