Don't do "Lunatic Fringe" -- most of us remember that one-hit wonder from the band Red Rider. The Barons and The Goons are OK but kind of plain. Personally, if I was going to start a band I'd call it "Nailing Hillary" just for the mental pictures it would conjure up...

I think it would be funny to not have a specific name for a band, and then at the start of every set, introduce yourselves as a different band name. So set 1 your the Lunatic Fringe, set 2 your The Barons, etc. You can get as obscene and obscure as you want. It would be cool to those that really payed attention.
