Both last answers are correct in some way , it realy depends on how many you have on there , if you take up all the space and there isnt any room for programs to open then yes, Like norton , when it does a scan it creates a temp file and if there isnt enough room for that temp file it will not run the scan. ect. Aswell as spyware , spamware that come with the songs if downloaded from diffrent sites or p2p shareing.

No, as long you're not doing anything with them. If they're just sitting in your hard drive, then no. "Paging" (using your hard drive as virtual memory) and programs that create temp files has nothing to do with his question. There was nothing there about having a full hard drive. His question was if certain files slowed down his computer. And the answer is as long as they're not running or you're not doing anything with them, then no.

the image information don't have an exceptionally enormous effect on overall performance yet music and movies, extra movies than music, can incredibly decelerate a working laptop or computing gadget and make it start up very slowly. the internet isnt affected a great deal by potential of this however the kind of purposes she will use at one time is. i recomend shifting the information to a cd or reminiscence card to disencumber RAM.
