I suffered from the problem for quite a while, and was told that the blood vessels in my nose were very close to the surface. As a result, in the winter I often had nose bleeds. And unless you live in eastern Oregon, I doubt the problem is dry air.

The solution was to cauterize my nose and I've not had the problem since. The procedure was quick (although my nose drained black for a long time) an I suspect, not expensive.

Check with an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) doctor and see what they recommend - but this will give you a question to ask them.

I had mine cauterized to stop frequent nose bleeds in the winter. Dry tissues would crack the vessels coming from my sinus floor. I had it done about 10 years ago and maybe have only one a year now. I was very happy with the results after healing. One thing I wish I'd had tried is warm nasal rinse.

A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It soothes with warmth, it draws out the entire gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean, but without the eye stinging). It will help with nasal dryness and also heal damage.

Buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot

You can do this as often as you like with no side effects.

My brother used to get crazy bloody noses, all the time. Not every day, but bad enough

In hong kong my dad took him to this nose doctor who did some surgury on his nose, he said it hurt like hell but in the past like 3 years he's only had like 2 or 3 nose bleeds. Maybe you should try that. I think it was expensive as hell though

Could be anything from a lack of moisture (try a nasal saline spray...Ocean is one brand at any pharmacy) to burst vessels to a deviated septum. The last 2 can be sealed or burned shut by your doctor or ENT.

It 's because the air is dry. Try a humidifier. It happens to a lot of people.

sounds like you have weak blood vessels in your nose. i suffer from that too. allergy problems make them worse.

Try a humidifier in your house especially your bedroom. Do you have allergies?

You may have weak blood vessels in your nose or you may be too dehydrated.
