I think if Prince Harry is well trained and capable of leading troops in Iraq, then let him lead. What is the big deal? He's been in the military since he was a teen and should be qualified to command if requested to do so. I'm sure he will do the job to the best of his ability. Thanks.

Prince Harry, a commisioned officer in the British Army, wants to be with his men [all eleven of them] with the Blues and Royals doing front line duty in Iraq. As an old soldier, I agree with him. The best place for him is with his men.

Who ever the two people who gave mr methan a thumbs down for his answer:

Thumbs up to Prince Harry. I hope his tank command mows many insurgents down while he is over in Iraq.

Should have them thumbs down finger broken.

i hope he will be called just "Harry" while in Iraq -- I salute the guy and wish him a speedy come back and in excellent health.
Note- princes are no different the "commoners" and they should be encouraged to join the troops where they are needed.

He's really brave given he will surely be a target, should be good for the Royals' reputation. Sort of inspiring.
The papers will be looking through Shakespeare's Henry V for quotes about Harry. "Once more to the breach, my friends".

If as you say he will be commanding troops, he will be doing it from a deep bunker. He will not be allowed one whiff of action.
