Saying America is greedy is a rather large generalization, you're speaking about several million individual people all with different life goals. True there are many people who may be classed as greedy or try to life the "good life". But I wouldn't say the majority of America is greedy, potentially I'd say that a large percentage is materialistic.

All countries are greedy. America is just everyones favourite whipping boy. Many other countries economies are doing very well these days and now they are having the same problems and issues come up.

Everyone is greedy. You are born that way as the result of original sin. It's one of the capital sins. If given the opportunity, everyone would show their greed, some more than others.

greed is a basic feeling that human experience. the want of more, more , more is natural because in the long run it will help a species survive. we just have more than others because: expoitation of others (slavery) , and we have master selling other things that people crave (sex, fast food, ****)
