My first pregnancy I started dilating at week 32 and delivered at week 36. My second pregnancy I started dilating at week 28 and delivered at week 34. This pregnancy I started dilating at week 36 and am going to have a c-section with this child because she is breech and not putting pressure on my cervix. I you want labor to progress either walk alot and sit on a birthing ball (or exercise ball), if you don't stay off your feet, rest and drink a lot of water.

My wife didn't dialate. We scheduled a C-Section a week over and she was still at 0cm. Maybe a couple of false labor but a whole lot of nothing. The tried to induce but 14 hours later, at 4cm!!, decided it wasn't going to happen.

At 36 weeks when the doctor started checking I was at a 1. I ended up being induced on my due date (ended in c-section). Second pregnancy also at a 1 when he started checking at 36 weeks, had a scheduled c-section at 38 1/2 weeks.

I went to the OBGYN at 33 weeks and was 1 cm dilated. They put me in the hospital and I went into labor on my own four days later.

I just got my first internal exam at 39 weeks on monday and I was dialated 2 cm, I am due saturday and if I dont have this baby this weekend I am going to be induced anywhere between tuesday and thursday.

i was dilated for about 3 weeks at 1-2cm. Eventually my doctor induced me early because I was miserable and had a ton of water.

I went from 0-4 in 4 days with my first and I was induced the next day.

I was dialated 1cm at 36 weeks, and stayed at 1 cm until week 41 (when I FINALLY gave birth!)

My doctor never bothered checking until my due date. There was no point for an internal exam until then because the amount of dialation made no difference.

with my first i was dialated to a 4 at 37 weeks and stayd that way till i gave birth, she was 6 days late.
