I think it's an absurd debate that unfortunately is between to two most stubborn and prideful countries on the face of the earth. What would change if they were 'official' Argentine? I'd still have to go to work every morning, and so would everyone in both the UK and Argentina. My point: beyond pointless national pride, who cares?

Firstly, the Malvinas or the Falkland Islands to give them their proper name are not in your country (Argentina). They are islands hence they are totally surrounded by water and therefore cannot be "in" your country. Go look at an Atlas for confirmation of this. Secondly, why in God's great earth would you want to live there?! They are rocky, windswept, dark and dreary places full of sheep and strange backwards people. Of all the places you could live surely you could choose better than the Falkland Islands. Come to England if you must we let in anyone these days and London is quite lovely during the Spring. And finally, the Falklands are what you owe us for that "Hand of God" affair during the '86 World Cup when you and that drugged up hero of yours, Maradonna, robbed us of a place in the Semi-Finals and eventual World Cup victory by blatent cheating. By the way how much did you pay the ref to look the other way and what are you going to give the Dutch in return for stealing the 1978 World Cup from them? But truly the Falkland Islands are British just like Gibralter is. We won them fair and square, no cheating involved, and the people who live there speak English and swear allegiance to the Queen not Spanish and to the latest General in control of your bankrupt Banana Republic so they get to choose whose flag they fly because its called democracy. Don't cry anymore Argentina. Get over it!

properly my argentinian pal , in case you desire the falklands islands then pass to conflict back and take a verify out an take them. final time you tried you suffered a humiliating defeat which extra your scandalous corrupt government to its knees and made the country a giggling inventory. What you're able to desire to think approximately is the purposes and desires of the individuals who actual stay on the islands, they are british subjects and desire to stay british subjects, in the event that they didnt then Britain may be chuffed to enable the connect the three-D cost united states of america referred to as argentina.

I think this isn't the British board. Go ask the Brits. They're the one's who kicked you out. Why are you so concerned anyway?
Do you live in the Malvinas? Perhaps the people who live there should decide which government they want to live under and you should mind your own damned business.

Sorry dude, but the Falkland Islands belong to the British. It's British territory and they kicked your asses out of there when you tried to steal them from the Brits in the 1980's!

To follow that argument to its logical conclusion, the UK belongs to France, New Zealand belongs to Australia, and Japan belongs to China.
I hesitate to mention Ireland.....

I think the Brits over there in the Falkvinas should move back over here away from that cold pile of rocks & all the foreigners over here should be exported over there.

I think you are wrong. Personally I would let you have them because they are a dump, but some people in the UK get quite excited about the issue I'm afraid.
