I know that abc has free streaming video viewing, however, I have a slow internet connection and need to download the entire file before watching, does anyone know where this can be done for free?

Yep you can find season 3 episodes as well as season 2 episodes from torrentspy.com, but first you will need to download a client called bittorrent or something similar.
Google for bittorrent and get the software, once you download that, go to torrentspy.com and search for lost, you will find the latest episodes.
Click on it, and from the next page download the file.
Take care that you open the downloaded file directly with bittorrent client, and tada if everything goes well you will be done with the downloads.
Each episode is about 380 megabytes, so it might take you several days to download each episode!
