I took one online that said it was official and scored a 133 on it. I looked and that is high enough for mensa. I know that they don't accept some internet test so where can I take an actual one. Also, I read some similar questions and I've checked with my college. They don't do IQ testing. I live in MD, north of Baltimore, if anyone knows specifically where I can go.

At some point you were given an IQ test in school. See if you can get a complete copy of you school records. But remember IQ tests can be very subjective, and don't always give an accurate measure of intelligence that is why MENSA does their own testing.

Go to Mensa Americas main page and find out information on your local Mensa. They can test you in a supervised condition for about 50 dollars.

As for a heads up, they usually give you two tests so make sure you're in a testing mood.

Also, I can almost guarantee you the test you'll be taking will be harder than the one you just wrote. Actually, here is almost an identitical test to the one Mensa commonly uses around here. Try this one and see if you can score 133 again.

http://www.iqtest.dk/main.swf The actual mensa test is 36 questions, and you have 40 minutes (usually). The other test you'll be writing will either be Cattell verbal battery, or something similar to the wonderlic (very short speed test).

Good luck and have fun!

Mensa requirements are higher than 133- And they do their own testing and membership forms. It is quite expensive.

Contact your local chapter of Mensa, and they will let you know where you can get one that is official enough for them.
