You cannot, to my knowledge, completely delete anything from your computer.
There are programs available that will recover all data from a computer even after several formats.
Depending on how much they want to find out about what you have done on the computer and their level of computer skills, they will know, if they are determined to find out.
Computers log and store everything in secret files that are VERY difficult to find, and even more difficult to erase.

First of all, do NOT listen to Handy Helper. Secondly, I find clear history doesn't work with Internet Explorer (I assume your school's PC is using that) but it does remove most of it. So, do clear history, then, open your history in IE and delete the files that are remaining manually.
If you can install programs on your PC, install Firefox. You can set Firefox to not remember ANYTHING. No cookies, no history, no cache... So I would clear IE, then install Firefox. In Firefox, go to Tools > Options > Privacy, and tick "always clear my private data when I close Firefox". Then, before you hand your PC back, uninstall Firefox.

Tools>Internet Options> Delete Temporary Internet Files
it may also be called Clear History
then go back into Tools>Internet Options and delete cookies. This should do it. DO NOT FORMAT C, that will delete all the files on the computer, including non internet files.

One of two ways.
# 1. Go into your control panel.. Internet options. You should be able to clear your internet history/cookies that way.
# 2. Go into your history folder and manually delete the files contained there in. I believe the folder you want is..
c:\windows\history But I could be wrong on that.

start || run
type "cmd"
then type
format c:
Hit yes to everything
(Don't really do this, it's computer humor, and it wipes out your whole hard drive. Though in my opinion that is the best way to do it)
