Do you read them all before selecting a best answer?

Yes, I read all my answers. and will continue to do so. I asked because reading through answers on others questions I have read some really great answer buried deep where the asker has chosen some totally inane one from the first batch. And as for rewarding those who answer quicker as one person said...I would rather reward someone who put time and thought into their answer rather than putting the first thing that came to mind to get the two points.

Why not? Someone took the time to answer--I take the time to read them. Besides, some of the best answers are often buried under a stack of so-so ones.

how can we select a best answer befor reading all???????? it's rediculous to think about it...i mean if people do like this...then i would NEVER give an answer to that person's question....:(
and yes....i feel extremely happy if i get many answers....so no chance of selecting a best answer before reading each answer.
Don't tell me you don't read all answers....do you?

Yes, once I selected answer 35 out of 43. However, I think more of the people that answer sooner. I think rewards should be given for quick answers.

Yes, and after reading all these, why not put it up for a vote from the voters. You don't have to chose if you don't want to.

I have a secretary that sorts through them and calls my attention to the important ones. I do care about the little people, but you know...I have a busy schedule.
