Universal healthcare, won't that be grand. I can't wait to have to travel to Mexico so I can get help before I fcking die while waiting on an American medical waiting list.

An Act is legislation to be signed into law by the president, or, in the event of a veto, passed with a two thirds majority vote.

A resolution is non-binding. Congress passes resolutions almost every week. Is this the first you've heard of such a measure?

National health care would be a joke. Just ask our Canadian friends what percentage of their paychecks disappear to support a crappy health care system.
Health care should be affordable but not nationalized.
Capitalism and profit drive excellence in industry and medicine. I want my doctors to be paid well so they are motivated by profit to be better doctors.
