You would be mistaken in the key assumption. I believe that the Britain's and the Americans and many other countries for that matter all signed an agreement about nuclear weapons testing. If I'm not mistaken your M.Thacher signed for you .

Britain's Trident missiles rely on the USA's military GPS system to navigate and reach their targets. If the USA decides to switch off this system because they don't agree with a British decision to attack the so-called independent deterrent is about as much use as a balloon on a stick.

Pretty much, yes. Britain's nuclear capability is technically on a lease from the USA, and it needs to USA's permission to fire one. The same goes for all of our cruise missiles.

WHY would we commit to invade England? You drink warmth beer, have those incomprehensible site visitors circles and rigidity on the incorrect area of the line... and absolutely trust human beings to do what they're meant to do on the roads.

i don't believe theres a dule key but the powers that be would be scared that the americans wouldn't support them. what i don't understand is why we have to have nuclear weapons, how can we preach to countries such as iran when we have our own appocalyptic arsenal

Paul b: why did we enter ww2 then you ignorant **** ( get some education ). us dictatorship is something our leaders accepted back in the 50's when they sold our country to the us for a couple of bob. we accepted there technology due to it being cheaper than developing our own; we had the scientists and technology but chose the cheap option. the same happened with our rocket program we were developing with australia we shelved it in fovour of Us hand me downs. im not anti us far from it but they do have us over a barrel so to speak.

Agreements mean nothing to Britain!

They had an "Agreement" to come to Poland's assistance if it were ever attacked back in the 30s!

Hitler came along - and the Brits fled the scene instead of assisting Poland -

and the rest is history!

What is Paul B talking about? Britain told Hitler if he attacked Poland, we would be at war. He did, and we went to war. He should learn his history.
Sorry to interupt the question. I don't know enough background to answer.

.

Of course the US holds the key.

Bush says jump & Blair says how much & how high.

Thatcher used to hold both keys but she was British through & through & Blair failed to emulate her.

WMD what a fool
