Ya, its okay, could just be the position he's in. Boys are typically carried lower than girls anyways, at least thats true in my experience

I'm also 27 weeks pregnant and it is completely normal. He might be positioned so his feet are towards the bottom and this can make you feel like he's not moving everything. I was having the same concern with my baby girl, and my doctor told me that it was completely normal to feel movement in one spot more than the other. Congratulations on your little boy, good luck and God bless.

Very normal. I'm 30 weeks and it was only about a week ago that I noticed my baby start kicking me above the belly button.

You won't feel him everywhere until you are further along. Right now what you are feeling is very normal. usually when you are going into your 8th month or so will you start feeling him all over. Ribs, bladder, everywhere!!! LOL!!! He still has to grow a bit more.
Good luck!!!

I also had the same problem. This is my third child so I knew my ligiments were loose. Come to find out that I have an anterior placenta and that is why I do not feel her movement on the top of my uterus

Position of the baby, position of the placenta, how the baby prefers to move, actual (not average) weight and size of the baby... all these things add up to where you feel movement.
So long as you feel it thats all that counts.

Oddly enough, mine likes to move in certani patterns, and as they get bigger they actually have less room to move about so you'll feel a change.

it could mean that he is laying in a breech position so when he kicks its your lower abdomen he's kicking. but dont worry if he is laying breech he has plently of time to turn back for birth!
