I believe the presidential race will come down to Barack Obama and Newt Gingrich. If I am right, who do you think would win? Who would you support and why?

Barack Obama, easily. He has a soul and a conscience, Gingrich doesn't.

Newt because he is more conservative and got a lot done as Speaker of the House. His Congress singlehandedly forced Clinton to balance the budget and moved the Administration from far left of center to a more moderate position.
Newt will not run, though. He knows his negatives are too high.

I am praying that Newt gets in the race and wins. He is BY FAR the most qualified candidate and I fully support him over the other Republican candidates (and over the Democrats....obviously!)

i think obama talks good looks good i think he's nothing but show business that's why hollowed loves this man he's nothing but a show and i have no opinion on newt i don't think hell get close to being a president or a vice for that matter

Oh, Obama, for sure - he's MUCH prettier and can BS with the best of 'em.
On the other hand, my boy Newtie is about 47 times as qualified to be president but, unfortunately, we don't elect 'em for their qualifications, do we?!?

Obama because the neocons, of which Gingrich is one, have had their chance to govern and they screwed it up. Now it is time for new blood. If they screw up we can dump them and get someone else. That's the way it works in America. We don't have a dictator for life, yet.
