One day the bad effects of drugs will be gone, but would u really want to live in a world where every ones just happy? Not achieving or fighting, just drug induced happiness and peace (or in other words the 60’s! but with out the bad results e.g addiction and mental and physical harm) in a world where we could just choose to be in a state of happiness that you didn’t have to leave, would that be so bad? We wouldn’t ‘do’ any more (no struggle, stress or pain), we would just ‘be’ happy and content or if we wanted- deliriously happy.
P.S. I’m also assuming we have made a pill for all our food and drink needs and still have children.

I believe you are talking about "illegal" drugs. It is my belief it is all politics, who gets the money. Let's take a look at vitamins and herbs. The pharmaceutical companies are doing a lot to try and get vitamins declared a drug or banned from the market. Same with herbs. Can't have us growing or making our own cures, they wouldn't get the money.

People take drugs illegal or legal because they feel a NEED. The body hurts, the mind hurts, the soul hurts. What you seem to be saying sounds a lot like a novel I read many years ago. 1984 I read it long before 1984. Drugs can be depicted as a broadsword: used to protect and defend or to attack and destroy.

Ask people who have taken chemotherapy. It saved their lives but in the interim they have gone through hell. Ask the child molesters who have been chemically restrained. In both instances there was a need.

It will always be so.

If drugs showed no side effects and I wouldn't harm anyone while getting high then I dont see why not? Once in a while I suppose—It would be just like drinking a beer or whatever. People would take it even as a medication because it does relieve your anxiety and helps you calm down or have fun. *whatever* oh and for the guy over me, My mother is a doctor and she very well knows that acid kills you. Your neurological cell dies little by little. Imagen when your ph is higher than normal you get oxidation in blood system and you get really old like a nail outside acting with oxygen and water humidity.

One should never think of taking such drugs even if they are not harmful. Why to put additional burden on our system to digest such things. True happiness and peace comes from ones thoughts, actions and emotions. For these sentiments one does not require any drug or anything else. You can yourself feel the difference in your happiness that you get from the drugs vis-a-vis by saving the life of a child/minor/ a bird/ an animal or any other living thing.

Acid has no side effects already and it is non-toxic. I mean it is easier to OD on asprain or alcohol than acid. I dont kno why it is even illegal. It can have a postive life-chaniging impact on your life. Such a spirtual awakening...I was as an atheist b4 unsing enthegenic substances...but now I have a deep spiritual connection w/ the universe. I realized that time is an illusion. If you use it in a safe envoiment...there are no negative effects(besides a bad trip).

Sure why not, it sounds good to me, and the 60s were a blast, even, with the bad side effects. Although I wouldn't want a pill for all our food and drink needs, its fun having the munchies for copious amounts of junk food.

What's the point of that shallow happiness? I guess it would work if it were real, if we'd worked to get there, at least we would have the satisfaction after the achievement. But a reality that's not real, where's the growth? It's even kind of boring.

I honestly think it's stupid and almost childish to think that a pill could make you happy, when there are several reasons for each one of us to be happy. besides, we all should be able to feel natural euphory and not hanging up to a "thing" to feel it's pleasant to live
