Where can I download individual songs?

I wan to make a CD for my friend. Any good sites? I am a novice at downloading music, so bear with me. any help is greatly appreciated.

if you want legal mp3's, use a program called ares galaxy, take a look on google and its on top of the list, its just a program that downloads songs and stuff.. its great, been using it for years and no problems what so ever

if u want free ones then use limewire- but yeh- itunes is probs the best
