Man, I feel so defeated. They passed a NON BINDING resolution saying we shouldn't be in Iraq.

Liberals really can't do much except complain, can they? They just used up time that could be used for something productive to pass a non-binding resolution that, well, complains. And not much more.

I want to know how much money was wasted to get this "non-binding" resolution passed!! What a joke. What a waste of time and money.

And I agree - most liberals don't do anything but complain.

They passed non binding resolution because they ran on Anti-Bush and Anti-War rhetoric. Most of the Democrats in Congress know that the war is a necessary evil. They also knew that saying that to the public at large was not going to get them elected an reelected. Their bit didn't hurt because they pulled all that dogs teeth out before they brought the bill to the floor. I'm glad that I'm not some liberal sap who voted" Democrats For Change" in the last election boy are those people gullible or what?

Well they also approved the recommendations of the 911 Commission, passed The Clean Energy act of 2007, raised the minimum wage, lowered rates on student loans, passed a bill to lower prescription rates, and are considering several other bills. The 110th Congress has done more in one month than the 109th Congress did in two years.

On the face of it, a non-binding resolution seems pretty useless, but that's not always the case. The vote tally on the Iraq resolution will serve as a benchmark for future votes on cutting off funding. But you're such a Washington insider that I'm sure you already know that.

Shame on us for wanting to protect our freedom! How dare we take an EVIL man out of power. Yes, I do want our troop’s home - my husband served during the 1st Gulf War, my brother current war. Did I want them home -of course, but instead of being selfish I would remind myself that they are protecting those that can not protect themselves. FREEDOM is not something that America or its government owes us it's a privilege & sometimes you need to fight for the right to keep that privilege. They all can say what they want to - I support President Bush & our Troops 100%! God Bless them all!

They are truly the progressive party aren't they? A total waste of time and energy. Non binding. In other words, it ain't worth squat. It doesn't surprise me though. This is the same party that believes in waving the white flag to the terrorists.
I am glad for the far left for one thing, they give me a laugh. I can't make up stuff like this. I wish I could write stories that were as comical.
And to the far left nut jobs, thank you for all of the thumbs down votes. It lets me knwo that I have gotten on your nerves at least in a small way, although, not as small as your feeble mind. I am disappointed that I didn't get more though. I need to be more effective with my insults by only using facts tactic. It seems to work at other posts. lol.
To those of us that actually use our brain to think, have a heart and have pity on the far left. Don't you at least feel sorry for them?

The non-binding resolution was successful in showing American voters where their Representatives stood on the important issue of Iraq. Those that supported the surge in that resolution will pay a political price in 08.

No, it didn't put you in your place- I don't know what would make a suitable place for the lot of you, but you have my full agreement that this resolution didn't put you there. By the way- and I only keep repeating this because it evidently hasn't sunk in yet- people against the war in Iraq are not limited to liberals and hippies, unless you want to call the late Gerald Ford, a number of retired US generals, and the vast majority of the American and world population liberals and hippies. If you're so much in favor of the war, why not enlist and head off to Baghdad ASAP? I'm sure they could use you and your Clint Eastwood wannabe credentials there.
