was just killed by being hit by a car less than one month ago. My son has known her for a few years and they are both 15 now. She immidately latched onto my son...I thought as just needing a friend, and now they are involved. I told him not to do this because she needs time to heal from losing her b.f and right now she really doesn't know what she wants and he might make the situation worse for her if he breaks up with her, or end up having to stay with her even when he wants to leave because of fear of her doing something stupid, like suicide, which she claimed to of taken a bunch of pills yesterday because the dead b.f's dad called her because he heard she was already dating someone else after being with his son for 2 years. My son got grounded 2 days ago because of being 3 hours late coming home from school, and this girl called and lied to me about where he was and the only way I knew for sure is my son admitted that he had her both lied. I normally wouldn't do this but I am

scarred for my son to be getting involved with her when she is having so much happen right now. I know I will hear all the "stay out of his life" answers, so if this is all you have, don't bother answering because in this situation, I won't stay out.

This is one time when a loving mother should NOT stay out of his life - they are KIDS, for God's sakes, not 30 year olds. And, at 15, this girl should not have been dating steadily with anyone since she was 13 - she sounds very emotional and "needy". your son is feeling sorry for her and now it sounds like he may be having sex with her at a time when they should be abstaining!!! You MUST call the school counsellor or pastor - certainly HER parents and get those kids into some serious counselling. She is shattered and she must not drag your son into her depth of despair. Would a preganancy at this time be a good thing - NO!! And for her to be threatening suicide, even just implying it - shows she needs help. Call her parents TODAY, ask calmly to meet with them, tell them you think she is a great girl but that she needs support from some outside help and not your son as you are frightened for their futures. Good luck!

I completely agree with kazacan(?) That would def be a #1 answer to the problem. Kids think they are adults, well actually society is allowing pre teens become adults too soon. Through all this caios in her life i would def be scared she would want a child sometime soon to accommodate her lonliness. She needs professional help, Soon!

KAAZACAN44 has a very wise out look on this,i believe you should take her advice ,I would add one more thing, family counseling for you and your son.maybe individual counseling for him. It,s been awhile since i was a teen but i remember all that emotional crap sweeping me away and not being able to figure it out and my life swinging out of control.I wish someone HAD stepped in.left to my own resources, i made bad choices that took me well into my adult years to sort out..,.good luck
