Hands down Lisa Lampanelli. She is the female equivalent to George Carlin. I was lucky enough too see George Carlin perform live,I cannot wait to see Lisa. I recommend both of them, anything by Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle and Eddie Murphy. Honestly Dennis Miller has a very dry and crass sense of humor like Norm McDonald. Stand up and ad libbed comedy is much more clever than scripted. You might want to check out the old who's line is anyways with Clive Anderson, it is aired in America on BBC.

Lot depends on your age and style. Humor falls into a bunch of categories. For slapstick, try The Three Stooges. For parody, Saturday Night Live. For sarcasm and wit, a British comedy, Benny Hill or Monty Python. If you like to laugh at the foolishness and mistakes of human condition, try the old classics, like The Honeymooners. For raunchy stuff, lots of contemporary comedy starting in the 1970s.
My favorite movie that has them all: "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad Mad World"

I love "friends" even though I have seen most of the series it still amazing how the show still makes me laugh and then I generally fall into a great mood-Steve Martin makes me laugh as a comedian especially the stand up series "Lets get Small"(I have kind of a warped sense of humor)
