I live in LA but i think la is the best because it has disneyland and hollywood and even though it is the smog capital of the earthquake zone, it is by far very fun because of all the nice things your child(ren) can do. New york is also very fun for shopping and having fun, but LA is less crowded. depends on your taste,La is also much warmer and you probably wont have to worry about weather problems like hurricanes or earthquakes.

Fun- its LA but if you want to know everything in life then the "Big Apple" is the place.

Does it matter....come 2012 both places are going to be part of the ocean floor. earth changes are coming....Phoenix...St. Louis...Nashville...you'll soon have MUCH shorter drives to get to the beach...you'll have to take a cruise to get to the Magic Kingdom (Florida...sea bottom. Orlando...a good sized island formed by a freak of nature and left unscathed...yes, the Disney people are THAT powerful.). Ask Edgar Cayce.

I would say LA because its always warm you dont have to worry about it being to cold or anything and you can always go to the beach
