Okay guys, the other day I came to you with our dilemma between Cruz and Landon. For the sake of our relationship, I have decided to drop the battle and let my husband win on the Cruz issue - we won't be naming our son Cruz. However, Landon still seems too similar to Lance (our other son) for me, despite how much I like the name itself. So we are back to square one. Just so you will have an idea of the kinds of names we like, these are the names I have previously suggested:

Gabriel
Adrian
Daniel
Andres
Lucas (or Luke)
Aidan
Blake

Our son's last name will be Garcia. If it helps, my husband is a sports enthusiast (he's a triathlete and baseball fan), so any ideas in that realm might be easy to sell him on. I feel like I've seen every name under the sun, but maybe there are some I have overlooked. Thanks for your ideas!

Thanks for your answers so far...actually, I'm not so much looking for opinions of the names we've already considered, but rather suggestions for NEW names that aren't already on the list. Thanks!

Are these names for the middle or the first name of the 2nd child?

I like Landon but perfer spelling Landyn!

Landon Blake sounds really good to me! I wouldnt name my son Gabriel, It's kinda girlie. Adrian is cute and Daniel is really cute. Andres isnt that cute... sounds girlie and wimpy. Lucas, I like and Luke also. Aidan is the best because thats what my son's name is but I spelled it Ayden. Blake is manly and mature sounding. It goes with everything.

The dilemma with your husband about Cruz... Its your child to hun, and Landon does sound similar to Lance. If I was you, you are the one carrying the boy atleast he can do is agree on Cruz and let him choose the middle name.

Hope this helps!!! Congrats by the well, hope you a safe delivery!

I love your names!

I'm also in the same boat you are...trying to find a boys name. I really like Aidan, it's at the top of my list right now. Here's some of my favorite names:

Aidan
Adrian
Owen
Oliver
Salomon
Brendan
Liam

Liam still has the "L" sound, but isn't as close to Lance as Landon. You can't go wrong with any of the names you picked. Aidan Blake sounds really nice!

I love the name Gabriel, personally. Lucas, Blake, and Aidan are names I have heard around my boys preschool quite a bit - I think they're more popular. The only one on your list I don't really like is Andres. They are all great and good luck! My husband changed his mind on the way to the hospital on the name we decided on (grrrr!) so I understand what you're going through!

I love the name Gabriel. I was considering that name when I got pregnant with my son. But I liked Josiah more so I went with that name but if I were to have another boy I would consider Gabriel again. I just think it sounds so nice. I also like Aidan, but I know a Aidan he is a sweet child.
