only 6 were ever written...if there are more, then they wont be by the same people....so hopefully, no one will try to resurrect them! it just wouldnt be the same, and it would taint the memories of the originals..

There are 6 Star Wars episodes. There are plenty of books that sprang out of the Star Wars franchise, so it wouldn't shock me to see storylines branch out from the first 6 movies. There was a movie about Ewoks back in the '80s that took place in the Star Wars universe but didn't have the name attached to it.

There are 6 episodes. "THe Phantom Menace"(1999),The Attack of the Clones "(2002),"The Revenge of the Sith"(2005),"A new hope"(1977),"The Empire strikes back"(1980),"The Return of the Jedi"(1983) .
George Lukas has no plans for a new movie.The story is completed in the 6th episode and in the 3 first episodes he recalls the story of Darth Vader(Anakin Skywalker).
Anakin was a young slave in Tatouin(small planet).When Obi-Wan Kenobi and his master Qui-Gon finds him they thing that he is the One who is going to defeat once and for all the Siths.
But they were proved wrong because Anakin when he was an apprendice he was overtaken by the Dark Side of the Force and became one of the strongest Siths ever!!!!!!

My friend, the Star Wars nerd, said they're gonna make a TV series but not any new movies.

yeah there are six episodes. one site i went to when i was surfing said that george lucas was planning three more movies, the first to be released in 2021, and he will start them in 2014. yeah, but i dont really think that site is that good. i mean, they even had a summary of each of the movies! www.supershadow.com , if you want to check it out. but since they dont follow the book series, im not sure if i want to see them, but im definately going to try to get in the movies! :) well, yeah, so thats what i know. hope it helps!

EVERYBODY knows there are 6 episodes, and no plans for any future ones although lucas always insists that he intended there to be 9 episodes...he always claims to have written episode 7-9, but true fans know thats just bullcrap
