precognitive dreams. There are many examples of dreams that seemed to predict future events. Some may have been due to coincidence, faulty memory, or an unconscious tying together of known information. A few laboratory studies have been conducted of predictive dreams, as well as clairvoyant and telepathic dreams, but the results were varied, as these kinds of dreams are difficult to study in a laboratory setting.

I think it would be funny if Claire Voyant responded to your question but you'll have to settle for me instead. Yes, if you haven't figured it out by now, the term is clairvoyant (and in some texts, known as precognitive), used to describe dreams that can predict the future. If you feel as if you have this talent, could you do me a favor and dream me up the lottery numbers for this week's Powerball? I mean, hey, come on, it's the least you could do for this answer. lol I hope this helps. lol

We dream of things that we think about during the day. If someone said something about falling off a building people can dream that. Now if anyone falls of a building the chances of someone who dreamt about that are quite big. Really. it would be strange of this had not happened ever. What about this girl who said every night I pray for mother, I pray for father I pray for grandma. One day she said: I pray for mother, I pray for father, I do not have to pray for grandma, she will die anyway. The next day they received the message grandma had died. That is a coincidence! Now that girl prayed for mother and for her father. But on one day she said: I will not pray for father anymore, because he will be dead tomorrow anyway. Her father was very nervous, you can imagine. He was nervous the whole day and came close to an accident. But he survived! So it was a coincidence anyway! So do not think about future predictions too soon. There is also a possibility of coincidence and bad luck.
