I just saw it for the first time the other night and didn't think it was that great but... Imagine if you had a dream to be in music and you thought you had a good voice but didn't know how to get into the business and you took a chance like lots of these people did. And then you make it to the finals. That's a really big deal. Even if you don't win some music mogul could see YOU on the TV and want to sign you. Take Kelly Clarkson for example. She didn't win American Idol but man that girl can sing and she's making lots of money. What's the name of the person who beat her out.....I don't know! ............."Just walk away"

It is this season. None of the singers has any true charisma, whereas past seasons have produced quite a few. They all seem void of personalities. And the judges are clearly bored out of their minds. Paula can barely mutter more than a sentence or two. Cowell frowns more than usual, and Jackson just puts his hands cover his head. I think it has lost its appeal on many levels.

i think so, they look for this cook-cutted artist that doesn't exist, and completely mock the real talent, becuz it isn't covered with beauty, when the talent is beautiful enuff. I like Simon cuz he's paid to be harsh and judge, ppl knew that b4 they signed up for the show.

And i only reali tune in on the last episode, just to see what i should be expected to hear on the radio.

I do! It doesn't support art, quality or creativity, not to mention hard work for success. It is a popularity/marketablity contest. A blatant tool of the industry to see what people like, so they can sell more crappy sappy music to the tasteless public.

It makes me wanna grab my ears and maby barf(ok mabye no longer barf...) even nonetheless it rather is poor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... no you're able to sing from now on and that i are not getting why rather everybody watches it! I additionally are not getting why human beings purposly make fools of themselves on there!
