Its easy, programs start running really slow, it takes a long time for the computer to log you in you session, and when you open more than a program (or even just one program) your computer performance shows that your using 100%...and it starts getting extremely slow, and it can even result in you having to use the old control + alt + delete trick!...

Your computer will start to slow down and some actions that are suppose to occur will delay a bit. The more they delay, the memory that will probably need to buy.

check your capacity and see how full it is, you'll start getting messages anyway that you don't have enough memory for stuff

when programs are running slow...and your computer ahs overall bad performance. At least 512mb should do. I barely get by with a gig tho
