i dont want to be creul but she wont get the hint.?

the problem is theres a person who considers herself our friend but me and my boyfriend dislike her. she drops round uinvited, gets drunk and invites guys round and uses our house as a free hotel. she is manipulative and has used some of our other friends and uses people to get what she wants. we want to tell her shes not welcome but she is always telling us how were her only friends and how she keeps attempting suicide. now were worried that she will try to use us and our home how do we tell her shes not welcome without feeling like the bad guys?

You sit her down and tell her that you want to be her friend but her behavior is forcing you to feel like her enabling parents.

She's welcome to come and visit and you enjoy her company when she's behaving like someone who can take care of herself.
You tell her that youre worried that your home has become a way-station for her. tell her. it's why she doesnt have friends.
you say, we dont want to lose you as a friend, but youre not behaving like one.

you can give her useful tips, a self help book to read, etc.
you tell her youre not her parent, you are her friend and hope she begins to live a healthy lifestyle that will last her forever.
guide her gently...dont be used. cut the umbilical. take your home back. peace

she sounds like she needs help. tell her your are happy to be her friend but that you want to set some rules. like her not bringing guys or other people to your house without permission. if you dont like her drinking at your house dont let her. you can be her friend with out letting her run over you and take over your house. as far as her telling you she will kill herself, maybe you should talk to her family and see if they will put her on the path to getting some help.
