The first time I visited, I ate at the Firefly Cafe. It was pretty good if you're into the whole eclectic setting.

I don't remember the name of it, but there's a really good place to eat that's on Bay Street. It's in the same block as the Outback Steakhouse.. They have your typical average american type food (like an O'Charley's). When you're standing in front of and looking at Outback, this place will be on your right, heading back towards MLK. :)

There's also Clary's, which is really really hard to get into because they're always busy and it's hard to find a place to park. This is the "drugstore/soda shop/restaurant" that is mentioned in both the book and the movie of "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".

The Pirate's house is pretty good. There is a Moroccan restaurant on the main street that was superb with belly-dancers and all. Much better than any I visited. Stay away from Paula Deen's Crap as they are average, expensive and over-rated!! Savannah is beautiful! Try the seafood in the old port area. Very cute little places, but I can't remember their names. I am also going back in April

I believe there is a restaurant called Six Pence. We stopped about 4 years ago and it is in the older part of savannah. Great area to walk and take pictures. We ate lunch there. Take the trolley and you can get off and back on. Have fun!

Huey's- right on the waterfront- we ate there the first day we were in Savannah and were there everyday for breakfast since! It was the only way we would start our day- the best seafood omelette ever!
