I like to know if there is a difference in quality for the Dumex formula milk sold in Singapore and Malaysia.

My boy is on Dumex Mamex Gold Step 1, and I normally buy my formula milk from Singapore. Recently I have purchased a tin of Dumex formula milk from Malaysia and have noticed that it's packaging & nutrient/ingredient content is slightly different from the one sold in Singapore. Is there really a difference?

If there is no difference, then how come when I compare the Singapore tin to the Malaysian tin, they have slight differences in the numbers of the nutrients? And some vitamin/nutrient is missing from either cans?

No differences.

DUMEX company imports its products from its manucfacturing plants. The local Dumex offices for the asia pacific region only repacks them. Therefore the packaging will be different from country to country dues to packaging law/s. Dumex sold in malaysia will have malay and english words, Thailand will have thai and english words,Singapore will have just the english words.

Infant formulas or baby milk powder is standardised.Unlike electronics equipment or motor vehicles which have lots of variants to suit each countries domestic laws and bylaws.

However please do check the expiry date at the bottom of the tin if buying something in malaysia. As malaysian retailers really dont bothers about expired product/s until it is brought to their attention by the users/ consumers.

Yes, there is different in Dumex. Even Milo also got different. If you are buying Milo, I will teach you how to differentiate Malaysia's and Singapore's. Milo's taste is totally different.

My relative working in Nestum told me before. That milk powder is different.

For Dumex definitely - Yes! The requirement is set by Nutritious Board of Singapore and milk powders sold in Singapore have to follow stringently! :)
