Go for a walk, go to the park. do you have a recreation centre within walking distance? If you do you can take your 3 yr old swiming. What a bout a movie theatre? Most of them have a stars and strollers movie playing during the day at a discount. At home you can do crafts that are age appropriate.

Ask your son If he would suggest something that you can all
do together if not just for a little while. It wouldnt hurt to have a few suggestions and let him pick which one. Tell him you would like to spend time with both of them. Can he help cut up vegetables or fruit for supper or cook something.? How about a family movie or a puzzle.? He will probably be glad that you're sincere. My grandson & I watch a movie or make cookies and decorate them. Some sim[ple suggestions but cheap.
Oh one more, bring out all those old magazines and make a coulage. Its neat to find out what pictures interest them.

answer yahoo questions all day... thats what all i seem to being lately... well mostly reading them... its strangely so addicting, no wonder so many questions get so many answers so quickly... i think people can learn a lot from a lot of these questions, you become a fast reader, you write a lot, you have to criticaly think about a number of different topics, you interact with people, you get to hear what kind of thoughts people have, what their concernts are, you get to help people, its a lot of fun but not for everyone i guess.. games are good way to go, tons of free games online, teach your kid to use the computer maybe, i look forward to doing that someday... type bored into google and see what you get.. or type somthing interesting to do, honestly good is a much better place to find answers than yahoo questions, this is just more fun

Buy your local daily newspaper and do the puzzles. Crosswords, Suduku, Mumble Jumble, Crytoquote are fun ways to pass time. Sure it's not very social, but at least you get your brains working.

First, try and find a way to fix your car (unless you did that already, then nvm). Second, check to see if your son does hw everyday, and third, go shopping!
