depends on the state. In ohio you have to be 14 to get a work permit. but to work at red lobster, or other serving jobs, they may require you to be 16.

check with your board of education to see how old you have to be to get a work permit, and then call those companies you listed and ask what their age restrictions are

Red Lobster-17
Burger King/McDonalds-15/16

Most restaurants will hire someone at 16. Waitressing will pay well at bigger restaurants (although some restaurants have tip share). I would suggest, Chilis, Applebees, TGI Fridays etc.

I know McDonald's hire people 16 and older. Same thing with Burger King.

Good Luck!

Well.. If you want to waitress you (by law) will have to work somewhere that dont serve alcohol, and these resturaunts dont pay very well but you will still get tips~ As for other resturaunts- fast food I belive you could work there

depends on the state you are in. fast food prolly 16, but where alcohol is served at least 18 and you would have to obtain an abc card to serve the drinks.

16
better places like older with experience, yet with a strong work ethic and no fear of getting rross and working hard, they will hire you at a highend place. but don't expect to much money at first.
Keep your mouth closed and study from a very good waiter and really really kiss butt. Sorry that's the truth. thought you would appreciate the truth.
