I just put some new songs on my itunes but when I update my ipod they do not load on there. I have a 4GB nano but I am only using 3.92GB of space on my itunes. Why wont these songs upload...please help

and also when it shows the capasity of you ipod, there is one section in orange that says...audio, other 54.3 MB and free space....what is the "other" music is all I have on my ipod

You can't use all 4GB on the Nano for music - some of the space is used by the operating software. When you sync, it will tell you how much free space is left in your Nano. At 3.9GB, you are likely over the limit.

other is the configuration and programming on your ipod

like the lists and the colors take up space too.

so 4gb is really 3.92

click and drag your play list, on the left to the ipod playlist/symbol
