I had to uninstall it on one of my pc's last week. Was hanging at update constantly for 2 weeks. Must have gotten corrupted somehow. Had to fresh install.

Yesterday a friend had the same problem. After trying several tricks to get it updated I suggested he remove the old and reinstall a new one. He did and it updated normally.

I just called him and his AVG is still updating normally.

this subject can take place while a million)your connection settings have been altered interior the settings in avg or 2) a pandemic can definitely disable the updates ,run a test with the defenitions think ofyou've have been given or much extra ideal...uninstall avg and acquire a clean software and re-set up it

It's got a virus that it cannot remove that's why your having trouble updating !

not today but did last week when my PC went down and had to install everything again, what i did was shut down then restart and downloaded AVG straight away

Nope, it's working fine and it keep finding all those Trojan Horses. It's good so far.
