I'm a senior this year and it's the most expensive year of them all. I leave for college in a few months and that is why no will hire me when I've tried to get a job--who wants someone working for them who will only be there for a couple of months? I need a quick or temporary way to raise some money for myself--anyone got any ideas???

I'm surprised that no one will hire you. You don't have to tell them that you are going to college (unless it's a small town and everyone knows). But how about McDonalds or a local drug store?

You can deliver papers in the morning before school. Babysit. Lots of things. Good luck.

How about doing something like house cleaning - put ads out to do things like clean out closets etc. Advertise for Spring Cleaning etc.
Babysitting-
Also for jobs at retail place you don't really have to tell them you will be gone in a few months. Just tell them you are trying to get money for college. They have large turn-over of personnel so you wouldn't be that different from anyone else

Do you have anything you could sell on Ebay...college textbooks, CD's, DVD's, books? This would be a quick way to make money. You could also check out this site for helpful information on working from home...you could try doing online stuff. Good luck! http://workathome.divinfo.com/

Privately tuition to younger school kids (lots of them need tuition in various subjects plus a little homework help)...at least three/six days a week, in the evenings, with appropriate fees for the same.

You don't have to tell the employer that you are going to college. Just tell them you need a job and haven't decided whether you will be going off to college or going locally.

you could sell something like Avon, Mary Kay, Candles, Pampered Chef. I sold Avon, and was successful. Women love it and its affordable. It's a very easy sale.

You could also become an affiliate sales person for companies.

since you are already computer literate, you can try with some data entry, key-contents, ad-words, etc. which will give substantial income for your immediate expenses.
