Sorry, but my question is a little gross---BEWARE!!!

Anyways...
I am a little concerned, because I am 35 weeks, and am afraid I may be experiencing labor symptoms or maybe I'm just sick.

I woke up this morning feeling yucky! I went to the bathroom and had diarrhea. On my underwear was a good amount of mucus (It was white and kinda really watery). I felt a little better, until like an hour and a half later, I had to go diarrhea again. No discharge this time. I felt a little better, until like another hour, and had to go diarrhea again! This time more discharge (It was a white/yellow). That was about 45 mins ago. I feel okay now, but a little yucky.

I know discharge is normal towards the end. But the diarrhea? Did I just eat something bad or is it something more serious?

I don't have any other symptoms. No contractions, no back pain, no cramping, except right before I have to go. I was just afraid this could be the beginning b4 contractions. What do U think?

Go to the doctor and get checked out. You are losing fluids because of the diarrhea. This can be bad for the baby and you.

To me it seems you have lost your mucus plug and it sounds like your body is getting ready for labor with the diarrhea. It is almost exactly what happened to me a couple of day s before I went into labor with my daughter. That was at 39 weeks though. You may want to call your doctor and tell them what's happening. Even if you lose your plug it could be weeks before labor. The concerning part to me is the diarrhea, because that happens a lot before labor. It's your body's way of cleaning itself out. Definitely call the doctor so they can check you. On the good side at 35 weeks even if you have the baby today, It may be small but should be fine. My son was born at 34 weeks and his only issue was weight.

It is entirely possible the diarrhea is something you ate, but I would rather call the doctor and see what they think, just to be on the safe side.

The mucus was probably the mucus plug that you pass before you go into labor. The diarrhea doesn't sound like something to worry about, but you should call your docton just in case. You probably just ate something bad. Good Luck with your new baby!

No that's not labor. Sounds like you ate something that didn't agree with you, that's all. When you go into labor, it will be like nothing you've ever felt. There's no good way to describe it but one thing's for sure, YOU WILL KNOW. It's not like cramping. You still have a few weeks to go so hang in there, I know it's hard. Congratulations and good luck!

Sounds to me like you lost your mucus plug..and you ate something that didn't agree with you. Losing your mucus plug is agood sign that labor is imminent, though how long it will be until that time is anyone's guess. You're fine, enjoy the end of your pregnancy!

you could've lost your mucas plug but the diarrhea is just an upset stomach. call your doctor's office if you're not sure what's up and drink plenty of fluids. good luck!
