why dose my temp gauge stay at cold and the car dont seem to be pushing hot air it seems to warm air now when i turn the heat off the temp gauge moves very little or not at all why is that

there seems to be no pressure on the cap after the car has ran for a long time and the upper hose that gose to the thermostat never gets hard and and also i drained my radaitor and less than a gallon came out i know the raditor holds more than that 1995 ford escort

Sounds to me like your thermostat is stuck in the open position.

Get a new thermostat.

sounds like your thermostat is stuck open. It will need replaced (cheap repair).
