Well I believe that if you check it was none of those. The "Americans" as you say it mostly means the Colonist. Many were Dutch, and some were English. They were already Christian when they came to the "Colonies". The reasons for them leaving in the first place and coming to North America was to get away from Taxes (English) and Religious Freedom.
Go here for a very good history of this..

I don't think it was any of them. The people who came to this continent were already christians and started spreading that to the natives here. Unless your question actually meant christianity was introduced to NATIVE americans, then I'm going with the french. The rest of the world's history books has the french as the first ones on this continent, not sure about yours.

i locate this question particularly humorous, because the Pilgrims themselves were Christians. additionally they observed as themselves Puritans. it really is why they got here the following from Holland interior the first position, because Holland wasn't giving them sufficient non secular freedom. Christianity became the reason u.s. became depending! Later, George Washington became also a Christian and he formed the authorities and the structure after a Biblical sort. there are truly some questions shall we ask to make sure why u.s. has been one of those fulfillment of a united states of america, and that i imagine the answer lies there.
