No I'm afraid not. Business Administration at L3 covers topics such as maintaining effective working relationships, contribute to co-ordinating Administrative services etc... The ECDL covers the programmes on the computer such as:
Word Processing
Databases
Spreadsheets
Presentations
Electronic Communication
Introducing Computers
I would gain both qualification of you want to improve your prospects.

Do You Mean ECDL--in European Computer Driving Licence- If so it is an international recognised qualification to show that you have a skill needed to use most common computer applications efficiently..

You don't need to be a computer professional, it is aimed at the end users of computers and is:-

APPROXIMATELY TO NVQ 2 (GCSE/A LEVEL)

They are completely DIFFERENT types of qualification.

The NVQ Level 3 in Administration covers all aspects of Administration, with only minimal use of computers. Which is equivalent 2 A-levels.

ECDL is a computer qualification, and does NOT cover any sort of Administration. It is GCSE Level.

No, they are different. The ECDL is purely about IT stuff whereas the NVQ admin is much more about project management, office work, health and safety etc and has more variety.
