flashdrive is better, if you are running, skipping, in the gym.

The harddrive advance is that it has more space, but if shaken will pause and continue, if dropped that it its buggered.

Hard drives have moving parts that can fail. Flash drives use memory chips and so have no moving parts. I would think not having any moving parts would make someting more durable.
