When people become gothic they do potray a image of being completely similair. But by getting to know each individual person you will see that aside from all wearing hot topic as some so bluntly put it that they can all be completely differint along with their personality. So you cant really classify a religion but its true alot of them are athiest but half of the people just say that to put on a front. And before you classify someone as a goth get to know more of their personality. from my expierience alot of people "pose" as gothic and very few are genuine which is why gothics all look alike because the few attention starving people take a genuine gothic persons style and by copying it get rid of all idividuality. But that doesn't mean they are gothic. Anyone can wear skulls and chains. Its more or less your personality that defines who you are. Just like a Gothic person can't put on abercrombie and fitch and say I'm a "prep". GENUINE gothic people are different just like everyone else and all have their own way of thinking.

You know you are wrong . I'm not Gothic but they may look different but the are the most quiet people I ever met . They don't bother anyone and they become Gothic because they want to be different then you and I . Also to get away from loud mouth people like you . Worry about you and stop judging people . You are here on this sight giving advice to people and you are the one who needs advice my friend . If you want to help people who have serious problems then do so leave people who are different alone and get yourself together . I'm sorry I'm being so rude but come on dude wake up this is 2007 !

a friend of mine owns a halloween themed apparel company and goths love his stuff.
he has been attending gothic events and selling at gothic bars and clubs for 10 years and has never seen a fight and rarely even heard raised voices.
goths are peaceful and different.
and if you go to goth parties and clubs you will see something that is sadly missing in so many other bars and clubs - women.
goth women are incredibly hot and numerous.
don't knock goth events until you've attended one...
