I know that grapefruit has a negative effect on some Rx medications, but can't seem to find whether it effects Clomid or not. I just started drinking grapefruit juice last month (more than usual), and noticed that the Clomid didn't work as predictably as usual. I don't know whether to blame the grapefruit juice, or just chalk it up to an "off" month. I've looked online and read about many women having success drinking grapefruit juice to become pregnant (helps increase cervical mucous), but can't find anything specifically about grapefruit juice and Clomid. Help, please!

I can't seem to find the answer either. What i can find is that grapefruit juice seems to help concieving. And in the case of XanaX and other RX's, grapefruit juice INCREASES the amount of time it takes to absorb the RX, so in the case of Clomid, it might actully help to absorb it quicker....Just a thought tho, GOOD LUCK to you

I would recommend that you call your pharmacist. They can answer any questions in regards to any medications.
