I am a full time college student working at local library part-time but I'm not making enough to get by-with extra school expenses and other personal expenses to pay for. How do I go about finding a part-time job that will give better pay?

Waitressing is the best part time money maker. It's so awesome to have money to bring home everyday. Some restaurants are better than others though, I'd stay away from large chain restaurants. It's usually the smaller mom and pop ones that bring in more money suprisingly. It's because you get more tables to yourself and you turn those tables quicker.

Purse Party

It's a lot of fun and the average purse party is $400...you get paid 30% commission the night of the party so you get $120 for about 3 hours of work! There are no minimum sales quotas and you do the parties when you want. You can also do catalog parties and you are provided with a website that you get the same commissions from. You have no inventory just a few samples to carry and they are tax deductable.

If you are interested you can go to my site and read all the details

I can answer any questions that you have! pursepartyamber@aol.com

Well if you think you can do sales, a part-time job in sales usually brings in a nice base pay and then the commision on top of that. I really liked working on campus at my school, the pay wasn't great, but we were able to get promotions by doing training, so it got to be a decent wage. You might also check out what local temp agencies can place you in.

See what is available on campus. Usually they are easy on scheduling, and they pay better than off campus jobs.
