It is a very good idea to have English Language and Literature
at grade C or above. History and Drama can also be useful.
At A level English Language and Literature are a MUST if you
are serious about studying the theatre at Degree level. Whatever you do, I hope that you achieve your dream of becoming an actress.

Well English, English Literature, History, Drama and Art are a few I would count as the most important. There is also a scheme known as LAMDA. It is very similar to the music exams and it's full name is London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. I have been following the scheme for seven year and once you reach gold medal standard you can teach drama. I would suggest you find somewhere you could study for LAMDA as alot of drama schools will look for it I would imagine. LAMDA also has their own website, I would have a look. Hope that helps.

none in particular. The main thing you need is talent. Obviously it helps if you are very good at reading and understanding literature. You need drive and passion, a determination to work hard and the ability to do waitressing or bar work for substantial periods of time while you are 'resting'!
Good luck.
