Ok, I'm 17 and I recently got rid of body hair in my arms & legs. I have been covering up for a few days now, wearing long sleeves and such but my mom is bound to see it one day or another. She is sorta strict and very religious, so I think she will probably freak out and think I'm gay! Whats a good excuse I can use? No jokesters please

But seriously, tell them you were exposed to radiation and that caused your body hair to fall out. But what about the hair on your head... I don't know.

You could say that you have taken up Biking. Most biker shave their legs and arms so that when they fall it is easier to clean out the wounds. Or you could become a swimmer. Shaving cuts down on the water resistance to your body.

You must tell your mother the truth. Tell her that you like a girl, and you overheard she hates, men with excessive body hair (most women do not like a hairy guy). You're still a growing boy, so I wouldn't worry, the hair will grow back in no time. Probably, in 1 week. Chances are, she won't even notice. PS.. if you're going to shave anything shave the feet (and clip your toenails). A pair of hairy feet is the work of devil.

It should grow back really fast, so just hide it a bit longer and she will never know, unless of course you plan on removing your body hair again

You want to get into bodybuilding. Body builders shave all of their hair so that the muscles look better.

Tell them you are on a swimming team...no joke...My friend did that and he told everyone he was on a swim team and the hair slows you down...next thing you know all the guys on the swim team did...lol...it was funny...no one thought he was gay!

A lot of swimmers do it to reduce friction,
making them move more faster through the water

What reason did you do it for? Tell her if it is for swimming or body building. Some athletes do that.
