My 14 year old son wants to get "crackdown" on xbox 360. I did get him Gears of War. Should I let him get "crackdown?

if you got him Gears of War why are you worried about Crackdown? Gears of war is more brutal and gory than Crackdown, and hes 14, so he is probably playing those games now anyway. I personally dont mind, so why should anyone else? he wont be distraught, so i wouldnt worry.

hey I'm 15 and i got gears of war when i was 14 and i am looking forward to crackdown (mainly for halo 3 beta codes) but i played the crackdown demo its like grand theft auto without all of the drugs and language. It should be fine for your son.

Crackdown seems safe for 14 yr. olds. The art style makes the game seem less violent.

he should be fine. and i think its great that you allow your child to play games like these. some parents are too over protective and it shelters the child from real life. a game is a game. obviously he knows that or you wouldnt have gotten him gears of war. good parenting on your part and be happy your child is mature for his age
