he take cold/sleep medicine early....
He was sick a few weeks ago and has some over the counter cough medicine to help you sleep, so I said, you feel okay? You're coughing again, maybe you should take some of that medicine so that you don't get sick again.
He was about to go take it and didn't even realize my plan to get him to bed early, and I had to ruin it because I snickered to myself and he overheard me.
Has anyone else ever done this?

No, when my hubby gets on my nerves, I kick him out of the bedroom and me and the cat curl up and watch the telly in peace. lol

It's hilarious...
sometimes when I'm sick and feeling cranky i tell my girlfriend that i'm going to "drink a bottle of benadryl and go to bed" and she always freaks out, since one 25mg pill of it just about renders me unconscious.
...really whether or not it was mean depends on your intentions. you didn't intend for any harm to befall him, you just wanted him to go to bed, my vote is for not mean.

I haven't done this before. But, I don't think it's mean. Sometimes they just piss us off and we need space. I think it's okay if he was annoying you and you wanted your space.
