OK soooooooo i am supposed to get my period yesterday or today still not here... so i took a test like an hour ago and it seemed to be a NEG? but i just went to look at it again and i took the test apart and looked at the test strip and i saw a VERY VERY faint line BUT i saw it even when i held my arm out i still saw it!!??? BUT my question is? am i seeing the evap line?? because it was a whole hour?? i would think that if it was MAYBE a positve the line would be darker sincei am due for my period?? i took a fact plus test...im confused!!!!! HELPPPP!!!!!

It is more than likely an evaporation line. If you did not see a colored line 3 or 5 mintues after you took the test then it is not positive. This is the reason they tell you to read the test after 3 minutes.
If the line is not colored (pink or blue or whatever color the test has) then it is not a positive.
Wait and take another test using first morning urine and a sensitive test. Walmart's brand, Equate, is one of the most reliable and sensitive test out there.

What kind of test was it...? I will answer again... I have had them bad on certain tests... I usually take the dollar tree brand... There cheap and they work great... However they leave very bad evaperation lines... I just took one this morning and saw a faint line immediatly... Now the line is completely there... Don't know if its positive or negative... Period id due tomorrow... So I only pray.... Just don't read anything after ten mins... Take another in a day or so...

I would get another early pregnancy test. I had the same result when I was pregnant and when I wasn't. Go find the earliest test you can and I wouldn't wait so long to look at it...even though I know that I kept checking and checking, and when I got a positive test I took about 20 tests!!! You shouldn't read a test after 10 minutes because things like this can happen. You need to retest tomorrow morning with your first urine of the day. It has more of the hormones in it that a pregnancy test pick up. Good Luck.

i had very faint positives on 2 different tests, and I'm definitely pregnant. but most tests say not to trust the results you see after 10 minutes. I'd test again. maybe buy a different, more sensitive kind. this might help you decide on a brand: http://www.peeonastick.com/hpts.html

It was an evaporation line..NO test is accurate if you read them after 10 minutes of taking the test..So you are not pregnant your just stressing yourself out. chill and aunt flow will come to visit...

the test was negative. sorry wait a few days and test again if you dont start or see your doctor for a blood test

u might be. it doesnt matter what type of test u take. take one in the morn.... the first pee is the best pee! seriously
